Once your baby is at least 6 months old, you can gradually
start making sooji a part of the baby’s diet. In case the baby has an allergy
to gluten, sooji isn’t an option to be considered.

It
helps improve hemoglobin levels in the body and keep the heart strong as well.
The presence of proteins, carbohydrates, vitamin B and
vitamin E make it an all-around nutritious choice.
Since it is easy to eat and digest, it does not cause
constipation related problems in the baby.
Recipe:
1.
Take a pan and add 1/4th spoon ghee and add 1
spoon roasted suji to it.
2.
Add 1/2 cup water to it. Bring it to a boil.
3.
Mix the entire mixture properly and remove the
heat. It will be doubled in size when cooked. Add a little elaichi powder and
dry fruits powder(If baby is 8+ months old).
4.
Add some breastmilk or formula milk to thin the
consistency.
Tips:
Roast 1 cup suji properly to golden brown. Cool it and place
in a container. so whenever so want to make it, just add water and ghee and
cook.
